DESCRIPTION
CRAB PLOVER is a fine art print of a Crab Plover (Dromas ardeola), photographed in 2007 on the Aldabra atoll, Seychelles Islands. This crab plover was with a few others on a sandbank at low tide, foraging and occasionally resting.. The turquoise background color is from the atoll’s lagoon.
The image was awarded highly commended in the photo contests Asferico 2012 and Oasis 2011 and a honorable mention in National Wildlife 2012.
