DANCING TREES SPEULDERBOS II

 70,00 450,00

DESCRIPTION
DANCING TREES SPEULDERBOS II is a fine art print from the TREES & FORESTS collection.

Pictured is a two-trunked beech tree, the trunks of which appear to embrace each other. It looks like they are dancing. The location is the famous Speulderbos, a forest on the North Veluwe between Speulde and Putten.

The Speulderbos is one of the most magical forests in the Netherlands and known as the forest of the ‘dancing trees’. In the past, straight trunks were harvested here for shipbuilding. The unsuitable crooked or bent trees have been left standing, making it an open park-like forest with relatively many crooked trees, the dancing trees.
