IN THE OLD DAYS is a photograph of elderly men on a bench in front of a mural with hard-working old people. Photographed in June 2007 just outside the train station of Riomaggiore, Cinque Terre, Italy, during an assignment for an article – Dreaming in Liguria – about the five villages of Cinque Terre for the then ANWB REIZEN Magazine.
