DESCRIPTION
SAND PATTERNS YOUNG DUNE AMELAND I is a fine art print from the WADDEN collection.
The image was made on a location with young dunes on the North Sea side of the island of Ameland, just after sunrise. Pictured are patterns in the sand formed by the influence of wind on the sand of a small dune. Part of the patterns are already being hit by the first sunlight, other patterns are still in the shadows, hence the bluish color.
