DESCRIPTION
TARANGIRE ELEPHANTS ‘THE CROSSING’ – PRINTS FOR GLOBEGUARDS is a fine art print from the PRINTS FOR GLOBEGUARDS collection.
Pictured is a group of African elephants (Loxodonta africana), photographed in Tarangire National Park in Tanzania. Tarangire has one of the highest densities of African elephants in all of Africa. The park is named after the Tarangire river, which has year round water. This river is crossed almost every day by groups of elephants, who consume mineral-rich mud on the banks of the river.
